Steven Jackson ruled out for Monday night

The Falcons will go one more game without running back Steven Jackson.

Atlanta coach Mike Smith confirmed today that Jackson is out for Monday night’s game against the Jets. That announcement was expected, as Jackson has been held out of practice all week with a hamstring injury.

The Falcons have their bye next week, and Jackson is expected to be healthy enough to play in Week Seven against the Buccaneers.

Jacquizz Rodgers and Jason Snelling are handling the work at running back while Jackson is out.

They actually don’t really need him until week 8 anyway, so they should just rest him.

It is OK Falcons fans, your team can still lose without him.

If the Failcants lose to Rex Ryan and Geno Smith then Maddie Ice and their overrated coach should leave town.

“If the Failcants lose to Rex Ryan and Geno Smith then Maddie Ice and their overrated coach should leave town.”

Why would the falcons fire Mike smith or Release Matt Ryan after a loss to the jets.

For one they are the reason for the upswing of the Atlanta franchise.

And two the jets are a surprisingly competitive team week
In and week out with a rookie QB still learning the game.

Anyone that has played any Fantasy Football over the past 4 years knows that Steven Jackson just cannot stay healthy. Not necessarily his fault, but, it is what it is.

“Anyone that has played any Fantasy Football”

    That would explain your comment.

The guy has averaged 337 touches the past four seasons while appearing in 62 of 64 games.

That’s rough. Hasn’t recovered from that Saints annual beatdown in the Dome and now they need to rely on rbs named JizzR and Smelly? Cheer up falcon fans! You’re one game up on Tampa!
