In a huge blow to the Lions, wide receiver Calvin Johnson is inactive for today’s game at Green Bay.
Johnson, who has been dealing with a knee injury, was listed as questionable on the injury report. But he was widely expected to be ready to play, as he has had knee pain from time to time over the last two seasons and hadn’t missed a game.
The Lions are also down Nate Burleson, who suffered a broken arm in a car accident, so they’re down their top two wide receivers.
If Detroit is going to have any chance of breaking its 21-game losing streak at Green Bay, Reggie Bush will have to be the man to lead the Lions’ offense.
