Michael Vick leaves game with hamstring injury

Eagles quarterback Michael Vick suffered a hamstring injury in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Giants, according to the Fox telecast of the game.

According to the Eagles’ official Twitter feed, Vick is questionable to come back into the game.

Vick, who appeared to be injured on a scramble, was replaced by Nick Foles, who was at the helm as the Eagles drove for a field goal to end the first half. Foles made one of the key plays of the drive, hitting DeSean Jackson for 21 yards to move Philadelphia into field-goal range.

The Eagles lead 19-7 at halftime at MetLife Stadium.

I wish nothing but illwill, torturous pain and agony upon the dog killer.

Hell, I’d be ok with him getting flattened by a semi on the trip home.

Leave the Redskins alone and refer to me as an American only.

It took Nick Foles all of 1 minute to equal Vicks passing stats for the entire day. Lol

I have to admit I was wrong about Vick…

I didn’t think he would go down injured until week 6…

Well for starters vick was the only reason i tune in to watch this game , because lets face it we have no business watching either of these teams because of their record,,and since the backup Foles came in it has been torture. So i have pull the parachute on this one..enough is enough.

The way Foles has played, that could be the last of Vick for this year

  16. lingsun54 says: Oct 6, 2013 4:08 PM

Foles is better. I hope he plays the rest of the way.

Hey Vick, when one of your dogs couldn’t perform didn’t you electrocute them or hit them over the head with a brick?

    Hope it’s torn.

Lol so much for chips innovative approach to keeping players healthy. A hamstring pull is the definition of soft tissue injury.

Nick Foles is the future QB of the Eagles. The Eagles won’t win anything with Vick at QB.

How can anyone with a sliver of knowledge about Michael Vick and recent football history possibly be surprised by any if this? If there is a God in heaven, this will be the end of this overrated poser’s career as a starting quarterback!

Giants can’t beat the Eagles WITHOUT Vick. The Giants ARE the worst team in the NFL. Oops, I forgot about the Jaguars. Maybe the Giants are the worst team anyway.

Wowzers. There’s a lot of bile and hate out there from folks claiming moral high ground. Pots and kettles anyone ?

  32. eagles512 says: Oct 6, 2013 6:37 PM

People who are upset about the dogs come on and wish him aids and getting hit by a truck. Now that’s classy.

    3 thoughts:

    1. Giants fans were classy as always by cheering when Vick grabbed his hamstring. I thought it was only Philly that did that?

    2. Foles is a better passer, but there is no running game without Vick’s threat to keep it on the read option.

    3. Foles is better in the red zone but Vick is better between the 20s. If any coach would run a 2 QB system, it’s Chip Kelly.
