Saints rolling early at Chicago

The Saints are looking the part of an unbeaten team on Sunday.

With a strong pass rush and passing attack, the Saints have surged to a 20-7 halftime lead at Chicago. Saints quarterback Drew Brees has been sharp, completing 17 of his first 20 passes for 195 yards. Tight end Jimmy Graham has again been exceptional, racking up 106 first-half receiving yards. The Saints’ defense, meanwhile, has sacked Bears quarterback Jay Cutler three times.

Trailing 13-0, the Bears got onto the board with an Alshon Jeffrey TD with less than three minutes left in the second quarter. However, the Saints would come right back, with Pierre Thomas taking a short pass and scoring a 25-yard TD in the final minute of the half.

The Saints have had a youth movement on both sides of the ball… Every team in the league is going to have to deal with the Saints for years to come…

Evil Jay shows again. So many yards, so few points when it counts. The only amazing thing about the Saints-Bears game was the line. How Vegas could have watched both teams last week and still called it a push is beyond me. A shame there are no legal sports books here in Iowa.

Would rather talk about Tebow than current Bears who can’t win the pressure games. Giants will have a good chance for this week’s Thursday night Mediocre Bowl. Line should be a push.

The Bears are a bunch of gutless quitters, and they’re getting their annual choking started early this year.
