Getty ImagesPackers linebacker Clay Matthews exited Sunday’s win over the Lions with a thumb injury.
Per a league source, the thumb has a fracture in it.
Matthews left Sunday’s 22-9 win over the Lions in the fourth quarter. It’s unclear whether the injury will limit Matthews’ ability to practice or play.
The Packers travel to Baltimore next weekend, and then they host the 3-2 Browns.
LOL
Wow thats really THUMBTHING !
Ravens fans laugh at Matthews little finger injury. Ravens LB would play through such an insignificant problem.

Wow, its nice of the Ravens to let the Browns play in their stadium
he’ll be ok. ot will heal by XMAS. Brett Favre played with a broken thumb so can Matthews.
What a Nancy girl, leaving a football game for a broken thumb?
Stay hard, Fabio
I’d say the Packers can’t catch a break on defense but that seems like a poor choice of words.
Fingers and toes don’t count
WOW………..how’ll he manage giving reach-arounds now ????
I hope he can still brush his hair.
Hey wearethesteelers, were u LOL at your Steelers? Cuz the rest of the NFL world can’t stop laughing at what losers you guys are.
Here we go Steelers (God’s Team), here we go!

If the game was actually close at all I’d agree. But since the game was gift wrapped with a bow the minute they said “Calvin Johnson is inactive,” I’ll just assume you’re a moron.
Since the Packers face the 3-2 Browns in two weeks, I’m wondering if the Browns’ game against Detroit on the 13th doesn’t count in the standings.
Because if it does count, the Browns will be 3-3, 4-2 or 3-2-1 going into the Packer game.
Remember, proofreading isn’t necessarily bad. It just seems that way.
Hmmm pretty quick to say he won’t play. I’m sure the pack will roll into Baltimore and show them what a real team looks like and how a real quarterback plays.
A story about a thumb,,,, do you give it a thumbs up or thumbs down ?
Gonna be harder to use the needles.
When the headline is about a thumb do you give it a thumbs up or thumbs down ?
Gift wrapped? So you agree Johnson being inactive was the reason gb won?
Agree with packerbackernj.
It’s one thing to bail in the first quarter against a division opponent when the game is still very much in question. It’s a completely different thing to go take care of an injury that could become serious when the game is all but decided.
Think about next week Clay cause we’ll need ya.
What’s wrong wearethesteelers, are you and your BFF logicalvoicesays having a pity party today since your loser teams are off. I heard the Steelers and R-words will forfeit the rest of the season to keep the fans from witnessing the dismantling of the franchises.
Looks like he is going to have to drive himself to the stadium now. He used to hitchhike but he’ll no longer to thumb for a ride

I’ll agree the Lions are 0-16 without Calvin.
Take two cheeseburgers and call me in the morning.
………and the Packers still won.
Somewhere …Ronnie Lott is laughing
Lions are a joke. They talked up how they could take this division this year, and they get smoked by the packers. Like usual.
Just rub some steroids on it.
I’m sure there’s a steroid that can fix that.
He’ll be even more intimidating with a club on his hand.
hee’s fine
Roids make bones brittle.
Can’t they just put some water on it and mold Clay’s thumb back together?
The “Stay hard, Fabio” & “Just rub some steroids on it” comments made me laugh. Lol
Broken thumb and can’t work. I got torn acl and I still work. hmmm Wimp mr. mathews
How Did suh break his Clay’s thumb? Florio needs to really review this weeks tape

Blowing up NFL QB’s and pushing the button for large fries are two completely different things.
Lucky for Detroit that’s not the case. Least we aren’t 2-2.
I one time gave a 1 hr talk, standing in front of 50 people with a freshly broken ankle – two places and a shifted bone – before I even got it x-rayed!
But I don’t have San Fran hair.
Put a club on and lets get ready for the ravens!!!!!!
well, when you’re dirty, karma ends up getting you. isnt he good friends with ryan braun?
Ravanator, my good man! I just googled you and found this pre-SB post:
“Only way the old and tired Ravens D can stop Kaepernick is if Ray Ray takes him out for a limo ride before the game! Go Niners!”
Care to explain this to the class?

Please tell me you are kidding. You are comparing what you do to being an NFL linebacker? Give me a friggin break. You wouldn’t last one play on an NFL field.
Always enjoy posters talking about how they are tougher than NFL players.
Ravens Repeat! Ravens Repeat! I am ashamed at the competition this year. Hope the other 31 franchises can improve.

Hopefully he will be able to play next week. The offense isnt quite clicking and the defense will have its hands full with the Ravens.
He should just dig through some trash cans to find Rashad Johnson’s finger tip and just sew that on.
Can you still inject yourself with a bad thumb?
Matthews has muscles in his feces, and a bunch of limp wristed clowns want to talk smack about the guy on the internet? LOL
Here is the thing, all you nay sayres wish your team had Matthes on their roster. You all wish your team had Rodgers on their roster. There are at least a few more Packers players you wish your team had playing for them.
Don’t hate the Packers because they are good. They are a decent bunch of players with not a lot of mouth. The Packers let the game show who they are. Must suck to be a fan of whatever teams some of you clowns are fans of.

Hey, you can’t know that.
Sure I’m old, fat and slow.
But I can take a beating.

Yours?
His hair plugs were pulled out?
a lot of hate on here! the lions were getting dominated all day there offense had1 highlight all day!! 1!! that game was over before it started…
it’s really not about thumbs. football is more about bringing some “knuckles.”
Sorry to hear that Dirt Mathews is hurt.
I hope that the injury heals slowly – looks like it heals and then there is a late hit of infection that causes more pain and additional remedies to heal.
It isn’t that I hate Dirt Mathews but children shouldn’t be playing pro football.
There are so many different types of fractures and much depends exactly which part of the thumb is fractured.
Let’s wait for the details before forming any opinions.
Packers play the Browns, two weeks in a row. Interesting.
Pack D is abysmal. Their strongest thing is the passing game but…
Jordy Nelson: 17 yds per catch
James Jones: 16 yds per catch
Greg Jennings: 18 yds per catch
Jerome Simpson: 18 yds per catch

I wonder if he has his manicurist on speed-dial for times like these.
