Texans turn to T.J. Yates

It might just be a case of getting Matt Schaub in out of the rain.

But the Texans might have just opened the door for a controversy.

Early in the fourth quarter, the Texans have finally taken out poor Matt Schaub after three interceptions, replacing him with T.J. Yates.

Of course, the Texans promptly turned it over again, so the result didn’t change. But it’s at least interesting for the next few minutes, which it wasn’t before as the 49ers own a 34-3 lead.

About time. Maybe they should think about making the move permanent. Schaub is holding this team back and the schedule won’t be getting any easier.
