PFT Live: Texans talk with John McClain

A bad run got worse for Texans quarterback Matt Schaub on Sunday night when he had an interception returned for a touchdown for the fourth time in as many weeks on the way to a blowout loss in San Francisco.

Coach Gary Kubiak has already said that Schaub, who was replaced by T.J. Yates in the second half, is still the starting quarterback, but we’ll find out what’s swirling around the team when John McClain of the Houston Chronicle joins Mike Florio on PFT Live. Three straight losses and a 54-3 scoring disadvantage over the last six-plus quarters leave the Texans two games back of the Colts in the AFC South and McClain will tell us about the depth of the fallout.

We’ll take a look back at the rest of the Sunday action as well during the show, highlighting the best and worst of the day in our tour around the league.

Manning beat Romo yesterday and by proxy beat the Shaub/Texans as well (since they had no interest in him as a free agent).

Manning > The state of Texas.
