Bennett will be a game-time decision for the Bears

Bennett

The key word for Thursday night’s short-week clash between the Giants and Bears is injury. And there are plenty of them.

For the Bears, tight end Martellus Bennett has been listed as questionable with a knee injury. Coach Marc Trestman said Wednesday that Bennett’s availability will be determined at game time.

Also questionable for the Bears are linebacker Lance Briggs (hip), defensive tackle Stephen Paea (toe), and cornerback Charles Tillman (knee).

For the 0-5 Giants, “out” is the key word. Once again, six players have been scratched. They are center David Baas (neck), cornerback Jayron Hosley (hamstring), tight end Adrien Robinson (foot), safety Cooper Taylor (shoulder), cornerback Corey Webster (groin), and running back David Wilson (neck).
