Saints add defensive end Keyunta Dawson

The New Orleans Saints elected to change-up their personnel along the defensive line Tuesday by signing defensive end Keyunta Dawson.

Dawson was released by the Tennessee Titans on Saturday. In order to make room for Dawson, the Saints released defensive end/linebacker Jay Richardson.

Dawson has appeared in 67 games over his seven-year career with the Indianapolis Colts, Detroit Lions and Titans. He has played in just seven games over the past three seasons and did not record a tackle in his two games with the Titans this season.

Richardson appeared in four games for the Saints this season. He also has yet to record a tackle this season.

Thank you for actually posting football articles, Crabtree… Unlike some other tools constantly bringing up the “redskins” name change issue.

I enjoy and look forward to reading more articles! Thanks!

Welcome aboard! You don’t need a big name in order to make an impact on this defense.
