The Cowboys put up 506 passing yards against the Broncos last weekend and they did it without wide receiver Miles Austin in the lineup.

Austin has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, but it looks like he’ll be back on the field against Washington this weekend. Austin practiced in full for the second straight day on Thursday after not practicing at all the last two weeks and coach Jason Garrett said that the wideout has avoided any setbacks upon his return to action.

“I thought he did some good things. He seemed comfortable,” Garrett said, via the team’s website. “He’d been running well the last couple of days. He got through practice for the most part fairly healthy.”

In Austin’s absence, the Cowboys were able to give rookie Terrance Williams a heavy dose of playing time and he came through with 11 catches for 222 yards. A healthy Austin would give Tony Romo a wide variety of options in the passing game, although odds are still against a repeat of last year’s gaudy passing totals.
