Calvin Johnson present at practice on Friday

The early dispatches from Lions practice Friday suggest wide receiver Calvin Johnson (knee) is at least participating on a limited basis.

According to Tim Twentyman of, Johnson “(did) a little more” in the portion of practice open to media than he did on Thursday.

Also, Chris McCosky of the Detroit News reports Johnson wasn’t wearing a knee brace and went through a variety of drills, including some cutting.

Johnson missed the Lions’ Week Five loss at Green Bay with the injury. The Lions play at Cleveland on Sunday, and official word on whether he’s playing may not come until gameday morning.

Seriously if CJ is not 100% don’t risk further injury. You don’t need CJ to beat a Brandon Weeden run team.

As a Browns fan, I cant wait to see Joe Haden vs Calvin Johnson! Joe knows if he wants to be the best, he has to take on the best and he has quietly been doing it for years.
Get well soon Calvin! CAN’T WAIT!
    GO Browns!

Joe Haden is a beast. But Megatron at 50% eats his lunch.

    Go Lions! One Pride!
