Johnny Manziel shaken up but returns to game

Johnny Manziel AP

Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel appeared to suffer a left knee injury in the first quarter of Saturday night’s game at Ole Miss, but he returned to the game on the next series.

Manziel appeared to be injured while scrambling to his left on a pass play, and he grabbed at his knee as fell to the ground. However, he was back in the game later in the quarter. According to the ESPN telecast, he has a brace on the knee.

The 2012 Heisman Trophy winner, Manziel is regarded as a potential pro prospect.

Texas A&M leads 14-7 late in the first quarter in Oxford.

So Texas A&M is a pro team now? Well, they could probably beat the Jaguars.

    Stupid Manziel!

Obviously nothing happened, based on (1) the reply shows nothing and (2) he came back into the game immediately. This was just another gimmick to gain the attention of the sports world. Since he is not playing a ranked team, and thus is not in the spotlight, he planned this to get headline attention, if but for just a moment.

Either that or he wants everyone to think he is tough and can play through a (fake) injury.

Stupid punk . . . I hate this guy and yearn for him to fail miserably!

This kid has the IT factor the clutch gene. with the right coaching and a good offensive line he could be a winner in the NFL. If i’m the Raiders i draft him. He has Snake Stabler come back in games qualities.

I have never seen a guy go off the field so fast and then come back and play. Good luck in the CFL.
