The Colts will be without safety LaRon Landry (ankle) and outside linebacker Bjoern Werner (foot) for Monday’s game at San Diego, coach Chuck Pagano said Saturday, according to multiple media reports, including one from Craig Kelley of Colts.com.
Landry notched 26 tackles in the Colts’ first two regular-season games but has not played since. Second-year pro Delano Howell has filled for Landry.
The Colts’ 2013 first-round pick, Werner has recorded five tackles in four games as a reserve.
While Landry and Werner will be out, fullback Stanley Havili (foot), defensive end Ricky Jean Francois (groin) and outside linebacker Erik Walden (elbow) are expected to play, Kelley reported.
