Harrison Smith doubtful to return with foot injury

The only good news for the Vikings today is that they’re one week closer to seeing if Josh Freeman can play.

Among the other disasters today (they’re trailing the Panthers 28-3), they’ve lost one of their better young players.

Safety Harrison Smith was hauled off the field with a foot injury, and has been declared doubtful to return.

They can ill afford any secondary losses, on a day when they’ve given up yardage in chunks to the Panthers.

    The coaches are clueless.
They need to be cleaned out from top to bottom.
Down by 20 at half and come out running?

    I thought they fired Chili?

Secondary describes the talent of our defensive backfield better than their position.

How much of this is coaching?

That is such a shame. They would have won easily with Harrison out there.
