The Ravens will get one of the key parts of their Super Bowl run back on the field today, while beginning what appears to be the process of saying goodbye to another.
Wide receiver Jacoby Jones is active for the first time since his Week One knee injury (and the subsequent alleged crowning by a stripper named Sweet Pea) for today’s game against the Packers. He missed four games with a sprained MCL suffered in the opener when a teammate ran into him.
The Ravens have also made the expected switch at left tackle, with trade acquisition Eugene Monroe starting there. Bryant McKinnie is inactive, making it reasonable to wonder how long he has left with the team. He said after Monroe was acquired he wouldn’t be surprised if he was next, but the bigger question is whether anyone would want him at his current contract.
