MRI coming for Thad Lewis

Bills quarterback Thad Lewis said after getting X-rays on his sprained foot that he should be fine.

Whether he’s actually fine will hinge on the outcome of an MRI.

Per a league source, X-rays were indeed negative, but Lewis will have an MRI.  With all of the various ligaments and other non-bones in the foot that can be injured in a way that would not show up on an X-ray, it’s still too early to exhale.

That could be why they are bringing in Matt Flynn for a look see.

Lewis has become the temporary starter in Buffalo after a knee injury suffered 10 days ago by starter EJ Manuel.  The rookie first-rounder is expected to miss up to eight total weeks.

This team is cursed at QB health

Flynn was on the flight to Buffalo before the game was over and before Lewis was known to have an injury.

    Flynn? NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Bills would be better off having Fred Jackson at QB running the wildcat.

I’d rather them get Tebow to be honest.

    Tebow ?? !! Yes !

    Flynn ?? !! Noooo !

Shut up about Tebow already. He’s not an NFL caliber QB. Thad Lewis looked cooler than Peyton Manning today. Too bad he didn’t get the win. Nice step up to #2 QB, now let’s see what you learned next Sunday.

They’re only bringing in flynn because they saw how bad tuel was as the backup, with manuel out for so long they need someone they can semi trust as a backup and it isn’t tuel. Flynn will be the backup.

The Bills made a 20 year deal with the devil to appear in 4 straight Super Bowls in return for terrible luck, i.e. Bad teams, coaches, management. This team would be undefeated if it were not for the injuries they have sustained this year. It’s unprecedented!!!

What is the record for most QB used in 1 season. Right now after 6 weeks Buffalo is at 3 heading toward 4.

Lewis played well considering he is a practice squad guy. With that running game Tebow would actually work their. Flynn isn’t a nfl qb either.

Can someone help Lewis out on dressing for his post game press conference. His suit looked 2 sizes too big, tie not straight, and he looks frumpy. Find that guy a tailor please.

Should the this team bring in VINCE YOUNG??? He has matured and he’s ready to go….
He has shown everyone that he is NOT a cancer in the locker room and that he is a hard worker (e.g. Green Bay Packers)… Vince is a 6′-5″ mobile quarterback with talent and playoff experience…. He is hungry, motivated and determined to continue playing the game that he love so much, NFL FOOTBALL…
Vince is a LOW risk-HIGH reward type of guy… This would be a wise move for any GM/Head Coach looking to upgrade their qb pool….

The Bills can’t catch a break this year at the QB position. We have 2 potential franchise QB’s after yesterday’s performance by Lewis and both are injured. If it weren’t for bad luck the Bills would have no luck at all.

    Tuel time

Evansvc the only thing Vince young showed me in green bay is that greenbay would rather not have a back up qb than to have VY.
