Reports: Levi Brown injures triceps before game

Steelers reserve left tackle Levi Brown suffered a triceps injury before Sunday’s game against the Jets, multiple media outlets, including the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reported.

According to Bob Labriola of Steelers Digest, Brown will not play. If Brown can’t play, Guy Whimper will be the Steelers’ lone reserve offensive lineman. Mike Adams, the Steelers’ former starter at left tackle, is inactive for Week Six.

Kevin Beachum got the start at left tackle for the Steelers on Sunday.

The magic number today for the Steelers is “six”.

Not as in “six rings”….. but as in “you have six active offensive linemen”.

Everything the Steelers try seems to turns to mush.

It’s getting to the point of rooting for first downs. Nevermind a win anymore; just get positive yards!

And the stupidity of the trade just keeps getting worse. When Whimper is your lone backup, you have a terrible GM

Brown was out all of 2012 with a triceps injury. Same arm?

This could be the move that gets Colbert fired along with Haley. Time for a change no knock on Colbert he did a solid job but the Steelers need some fresh blood to set them up for the next decade or 2
