Jarret Johnson inactive for Chargers

Jarret Johnson AP

The Chargers will be taking on Andrew Luck without their top pass rusher tonight.

San Diego outside linebacker Jarret Johnson, who leads the team with 3.0 sacks, is inactive against the Colts on Monday Night Football. He had been listed as questionable with a hamstring injury.

Also inactive is starting linebacker Donald Butler, who had been listed as questionable with a groin injury. Throw in linebacker Dwight Freeney, who has been lost for the season with a quad injury, and the Chargers are very thin at linebacker.

Chargers offensive tackle D.J. Fluker and cornerback Richard Marshall were also listed as questionable, but both of them are active.

The Colts’ inactives are safety LaRon Landry, running back Dan Herron, linebacker Kavell Conner, center Khaled Holmes, tackle Xavier Nixon, outside linebacker Bjoern Werner and defensive tackle Montori Hughes.

And don’t forget they also lost Ingram earlier this year. Team cannot catch a break with injuries.

But, can you lib writers put together another ‘anti-Redskin’ article? It’s only been a few hours since the last one…

LaRon Landry reminds me a little of Bob Sanders. Good…but always hurt.

The odds are pretty in favor of the Colts but for some reason I still think it will be a good game in the end.

According to espn, this is the Andrew Luck show. How will the Chargers ever compete with crappy old Philip rivers.
