Levi Brown’s season in Pittsburgh was a short one.

Brown, the offensive tackle obtained in a trade with the Cardinals on October 2, has been placed on injured reserve without playing a single game for the Steelers.

The Steelers expected Brown to play on Sunday, but he suffered a triceps injury in pregame warmups, and that injury has now ended his season.

Pittsburgh also placed tight end/fullback David Johnson on injured reserve, signed free agent tight end Richard Gordon and promoted cornerback Isaiah Green from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.
