The Jacksonville Jaguars had 16 players either limited or sitting out during their first practice of the week on Wednesday - thirteen of which sat out due to injuries.

Wide receiver Justin Blackmon was among the 13 players watching practice from the sidelines due to injury on Wednesday. Blackmon sat out with a hamstring injury.

Blackmon has already caught 19 passes for 326 yards and a touchdown in two games for the Jaguars since serving a four-game suspension to start the season. Four receivers in total missed Wednesday’s practice with Stephen Burton (concussion), Ace Sanders (concussion) and Cecil Shorts (shoulder) also sidelined.

Safety Jonathan Cyprien (calf), defensive tackle Roy Miller (shoulder) and defensive end Jeremy Mincey (concussion) also missed Wednesday’s practice due to injury. Veteran defensive end Jason Babin, running back Maurice Jones-Drew and center Brad Meester also sat out practice but weren’t for injury-related reasons.

Six more players were limited for the Jaguars: linebacker Russell Allen (ribs), defensive end Andre Branch (knee), quarterback Blaine Gabbert (hamstring), cornerback Dwayne Gratz (ankle), tight end Marcedes Lewis (calf) and running back Jordan Todman (thigh).

The Jaguars play host to the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.
