PFT on NBCSN: Jared Allen, Thursday night preview

Vikings Packers Football AP

The Vikings are preparing to face the Giants next Monday night and the play of the Giants offensive line to this point in the season should have defensive end Jared Allen excited about the matchup.

We’ll find out when Allen joins Pro Football Talk on NBCSN to discuss the upcoming game. We’ll also ask Allen about his impending free agency and the upheaval on the other side of the ball with the Vikings as they prepare to start their third quarterback of the young season.

That game will close out Week Seven, but it will kick off with the Cardinals and Seahawks on Thursday night. We’ll preview that game and catch you up on all the other biggest news from around the league as well.

It all gets started at 5:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

This should be interesting listening to Allen trying to put lipstick on this MN pig of a season.

Surely watching a dog turd dry out in your front yard will be more exciting than this weeks MNF game.

Actually, as much as the Vikings Win Record is poor this year, the only game they have played in that was “boring” at all for fans was the last one.
All the others were high scoring affairs where they lost either in the 4th quarter or the final seconds.

Fact is teams with decent offenses (Adrian Peterson) and lousy defenses very often have high scoring games that are not really boring.

It’s just that you can’t get very excited about the significance of their records. :-(

I hope the Vikings resign this guy, the $14 million they are already paying him is such a bargain and you can see the value of that investment when you look at the Viking’s defensive rankings. Ya, he’s a real difference maker alright.
