Still no practice for Steven Jackson, Roddy White

As the Falcons brace for Sunday’s Battle of the Basement against the Buccaneers, the home team is still missing several key players on offense.

Gone for good is receiver Julio Jones, who suffered a foot injury during the Week Five loss to the Jets.  Also gone from practice (for now) is receiver Roddy White, who has an old ankle injury and a new hamstring problem.

Running back Steven Jackson, who suffered a hamstring injury during the team’s only win of the season in Week Two, also remains out of practice.

Ditto for left tackle Sam Baker, who has a knee injury, and tight end Chase Coffman, who also has a knee injury.

The only good news is that running back Jason Snelling has practiced each of the last two days, despite a concussion.  He’ll need to be cleared by an independent neurologist before he’s able to play.

Former second round stud Brian Robiskie will come in during the 4th quarter and explode for 5 catches for 86 yards and a touchdown to pull out the win.
