Donald Butler doubtful, Jarret Johnson questionable for Chargers

The Chargers could be without starting inside linebacker Donald Butler for a second consecutive contest.

Butler is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game at Jacksonville after missing his third practice of the week with a groin injury.

Andrew Gachkar started in Butler’s place in the Chargers’ Week Six win vs. the Colts.

Outside linebacker Jarret Johnson (hamstring) is questionable on the club’s injury report after practicing on a limited basis on Friday. Wide receiver Eddie Royal (toe) is also questionable, but he has not practiced this week.

Seven Chargers are listed as probable, including rookie right tackle D.J. Fluker (calf).

The only Chargers player officially listed out for Sunday is left guard Chad Rinehart (toe). Johnnie Troutman has started for Rinehart in each of the last four games.

The Chargers need to travel with their own hospital.

Chargers win without them anyways, Jags on cruise control on the 0-16 highway.

Butler is out again this week. Ig he hasn’t practiced by now then he’s not playing. Royal won’t play yet either. A WR cannot make cuts at speed with a toe injury unless he opts to shoot it up but that always makes things worse. Johnson likely will play but his snaps may be limited.
