Tight end Jermichael Finley has drawn some criticism for his blocking over the years from Packers fans and now the league has also added a critical voice.
As Finley explained in a tweet on Friday, the league took issue with the way he blocked Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs during last Sunday’s 19-17 Packers victory.

Finley was fined $15,750 for “unnecessarily striking a defenseless player in the head and neck area” when he blocked Suggs on a running play in the first quarter. Finley plans to appeal the fine for a block that went unpenalized during the game.
“I really don’t care about it, but just the fact that if it was a play where I was trying to do it, I’d take the fine, but I won’t take it,” Finley said, via Jason Wilde of ESPNWisconsin.com.
Packers guard T.J. Lang was not fined for drawing a personal foul when he shoved Ravens safety Matt Elam in the aftermath of Elam’s low hit on Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb, who suffered a knee injury that will keep him out for at least eight weeks. Elam was not fined either for a hit that’s legal under current NFL rules.
