The lone Bengals player not to practice on Thursday returned on Friday.

Cornerback Terence Newman (abdomen) was present at practice on Friday, according to multiple Bengals beat reporters, including Coley Harvey of ESPN.com.

Newman, 35, has started all 21 regular-season games in which he’s played for Cincinnati, including the first six of the 2013 campaign. He has recorded 29 tackles and defended six passes, with one interception.

A first-round pick of Dallas in 2003, Newman has intercepted 35 regular-season passes in his NFL career and has made at least 10 starts in all 11 pro seasons.
