Broncos add Von Miller to roster

The Broncos have added outside linebacker Von Miller to their roster, the club said Saturday.

Miller, whose six-game NFL suspension ended this week, will make his 2013 regular-season debut on Sunday night in Indianapolis.

Miller was exempt from the Broncos’ roster as he initially returned from suspension.

Miller, 24, has starred since the Broncos made him the No. 2 overall pick in 2011, notching 30 sacks in 31 regular-season games.

With Miller added to the roster, the Broncos waived rookie wide receiver Tavarres King, whom they promoted from the practice squad earlier in the week.

Denver has Peyton on the offense who does everything the right way and would never cheat… And then you have Von Miller who is nothing like Peyton. I wonder what Peyton thinks of Von?

So the Packers wanted to sign King. The Broncos promote King to 53 man to block it. Then waive him sending him to im going to guess Jacksonville. Way to screw your draft picks Elway

Hopefully Von took advantage of his time off and got some help for his drug problems ala Aldon Smith. He is so much like Lawrence Taylor on and off the field it is scary.

This should be a much needed lift to that defense. Always hard to play when you’re missing your star defensive player

King will sign with Packers, ELway tried to trade him for a draft pick , it didn’t work! Let’s see if I am right.

Yeah, trying to keep a Super Bowl contender from getting better at your expense. What a jerk!

Miller should have been suspended for a year and fined at least a half million dollars.

But of course not. Miller got off light. Its just Roger protecting the Donks, trying to get Paymeaton Manning another shot at ganking in the Super Bowl.

Dude will be out of the league in couple of years.

I thought the Broncos would be 4-2 in Millers absence……the fact that they are 6-0 WITHOUT Miller should have the rest of the league a little nervous.
I think this team could be a true threat to go 19-0
unless they rest some starters for the final 2 games.
that being said ,surprisingly the toughest test the Broncos face and the biggest obstacle to a perfect season is the Kansas city Chiefs….who could have guessed that? 2-14 last year and a legit contender this season.

Smart move by the Broncos. They promote King to roster to protect him from Green Bay, forcing them to sign a different wide receiver. Then at the end of the week Broncos waive King who should clear waivers and be back on Broncos PS Monday.

King will replace Eric Decker next year if Broncos lose him because of salary cap. They have so many people to sign and are wealthy at WR so I wouldn’t be surprised to see Decker go.

I guessed the Chiefs would give the Broncos a run for their money. They’re not going to let Peyton cakewalk through the season to the playoffs.
