Cowboys add to lead at start of second half

Phillip Tanner, Tony Romo AP

It took nearly 60 percent of regulation time to run off the clock, but we finally saw a touchdown in Sunday’s Cowboys-Eagles game.

Cowboys running back Phillip Tanner did the honors, scoring from one yard out to give the Cowboys a 10-0 lead 5:43 into the second half.

The Eagles’ offense has struggled, with quarterback Nick Foles completing just 11-of-26 passes for 80 yards and running back LeSean McCoy held to just 28 rushing yards on 10 carries thus far for Philadelphia.

According to the Fox telecast, the Eagles’ scoreless first half was the first time a Chip Kelly-coached team has ever been held without a point in any half in his head-coaching career.

The refs are doing all they can to help them, though. We all saw the same angles on that INT review. BAD call.

The stadium is emptying with >7 minutes left and down by two scores. Eagles fans are the most mediocre fans in sports.

Cowboys first in the East baby.
Mighty duck offense held to 3 lousy points and that was a gift from Romo.

    Silence from eagle fan.

    You stink!

Well I guess that ends the “QB CONTROVERSY” LOL. Anybody seriously think that wins over my currently horrible GMen and the even worse Bucs were evidence of a franchise QB? Haha NOT. I said it to Eagles fans last week, lets talk after the Cowboys game. Even without D.Ware Foles played like, well Nick Foles AKA Backup QB!!! As soon as a decent defense got to prepare for what Foles does(dink and dunk check down master) they shut him and the entire offense down with relative ease.
