Harry Douglas making the most of his chance

Buccaneers Falcons Football AP

Maybe the Falcons have found a receiver they can trust when everyone’s healthy.

Backup Harry Douglas is making the most of his time as the Falcons’ leading receiver, doing the kind of things we’re more accustomed to seeing Julio Jones or Roddy White do.

Douglas just caught a 37-yard touchdown pass, and has six catches for 140 yards in the first half, as the Falcons are rolling the winless Bucs 24-7.

Douglas has always hinted at his potential, but it’s hard to find much time with the company he normally keeps. While Jones misses the rest of the season, he gives them a solid option when White returns from his collection of injuries.

By year’s end Brian Robiskie will be a scintillating #3 receiver behind Roddy & Harry. Boo yeah.
