Bears quarterback Jay Cutler sustained a groin injury in the second quarter of Sunday’s game at Washington and was replaced by Josh McCown.
Cutler was hurt on a quarterback sack. He walked gingerly off the playing field to the sideline, then left the playing field, likely to be examined inside the stadium.
According to Fox’s Tony Siragusa, Cutler was helped to a golf cart and is being X-rayed for an injury on the “lower part of his body.”
UPDATE: 2:58 p.m. ET: Cutler is out for the rest of the game, according to the Bears.
