No Ware or Murray for Cowboys today

DeMarcus Ware, Robert Griffin III AP

The Cowboys are going to have to play for first place without their top defensive end and starting running back.

Both DeMarcus Ware (quad) and DeMarco Murray (knee) are inactive for the Cowboys today against the Eagles.

Ware’s absence stops a streak of 134 consecutive games played, or all of them since he was drafted in the first round of the 2005 Draft.

Pretty darn quiet in here. I guess the Eagle fans aren’t interested in offering their lame excuses, but they sure as heck would be demanding excuses from Cowboy fans if the Eagles would have found a way to win.

The Eagles were severely exposed, the Dallas D down several players absolutely put on a clinic, shut down Shady for the whole game, and Carr completely took MeSean out of the game. Nobody has been able to do that to Shady all year, and ALL the experts predicted Shady would have a huge day. That make-shift Dallas D got it done big time.

Randle and the O-line won the battles in the trenches, and Dez Bryant also won his battles. Never a bad day when the Cowboys beat the Eagles, and it looks like the Cowboys came out of it with no major injuries. A fine Sunday indeed….
