According to a report, the Georgia Dome’s visiting locker room apparently got a thorough cleaning after the Buccaneers — who have dealt with staph infections this season — departed the facility.

Per Fox 13 in Tampa Bay, the visiting locker room was entered by workers in hazardous-material suits after Tampa Bay personnel exited the room on Sunday afternoon.

According to Kevin O’Donnell of Fox 13, the cleaning crew told him they had a “special cleaner” and that the cleaning was related to MRSA prevention.

In August, the Patriots had their facility cleaned after news of the Bucs’ staph infections surfaced, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported. The Buccaneers had worked out at New England’s facility during the summer.

The Buccaneers lost 31-23 to the Falcons on Sunday.
