The roof is open in Indy

Welcome home Peyton, indeed.

The Colts have opted to open the roof for Sunday night’s game against the Broncos. And Peyton Manning won’t be happy about that.

Manning, who wants to minimize any and all potential variables, would want the roof to be closed. With the roof open, the wind becomes a factor.

Of course, Peyton has spent the last season and a half (roughly) playing home games in Denver, where wind and weather are part of his weekly reality. And the effort to throw him off by opening the roof could make him even more determined to have a night that isn’t simply great, but also potentially historic.
