The Patriots waived reserve defensive tackle Andre Neblett on Monday.
The move leaves New England with an open roster spot.
Neblett (6-0, 310) played six snaps on defense and five snaps on special teams in the Patriots’ 27-24 overtime loss to the Jets on Sunday.
The 25-year-old Neblett has had two stints with the Patriots in October. He has played in 31 NFL regular-season games, recording 40 tackles and three sacks. He previously played for Carolina (2010-2012) and Tampa Bay (2013 offseason).
