With the status of a pair of safeties in doubt for this week’s game against the Denver Broncos, the Washington Redskins are looking to bring back Jordan Pugh to their roster.

According to Mike Jones of the Washington Post, the Redskins will re-sign Pugh after releasing him last week.

With the two-game suspension of Brandon Meriweather looming (pending appeal) and the status of Reed Doughty in question with a concussion, the Redskins needed to bolster their depth at the safety position.

Pugh has appeared in three games for the Redskins this season but has not recorded a tackle.
