The Falcons needed someone to step up in the absence of wide receivers Julio Jones and Roddy White last week if they were going to end their three-game losing streak.
Harry Douglas was just what they were looking for. Douglas moved from his usual third receiver role to a leading role with seven catches for 149 yards and a touchdown in the 31-23 victory over the Buccaneers. Douglas will join Mike Florio on PFT Live Thursday to discuss his biggest game as a pro and what he’ll do to try to keep it up in the coming weeks as the Falcons try to climb back into the playoff picture.
The Falcons will be in Arizona this week and MDS will be joining Florio on the program to talk about their picks for that game and all the others on the schedule in Week Eight. Florio thinks the Falcons will get a second straight win while MDS believes the Cardinals will defend their home turf.
