Falcons wide receiver Roddy White had his streak of consecutive games played snapped at 133 last week and his string of consecutive games missed will climb to two when the Falcons face the Cardinals this weekend.
White will remain sidelined with a hamstring injury this week after the Falcons chose to rule him out for the matchup with Arizona. That should mean another big week of targets for Harry Douglas, who filled the void left by White and Julio Jones in the Week Seven victory over the Buccaneers. White did not practice at all this week and will try to get back on the field in Week Nine.
The Falcons will have running back Steven Jackson in the lineup, however. Jackson is listed as probable after practicing all week and is poised to make his first appearance since injuring his hamstring in Week Two.
Jacquizz Rodgers will back up Jackson with Jason Snelling ruled out because of an ankle injury. Linebacker Stephen Nicholas has also been ruled out and left tackle Sam Baker is questionable with the knee injury that’s kept him out since Week Four.
