The Packers have been ravaged by injuries this season, but they appear close to be getting one key part back sooner than expected.

According to Wes Hodkiewicz of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Packers outside linebacker Nick Perry could return this week.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said he was “hopeful” Perry could play Sunday night against the Vikings, and Perry is listed as questionable.

It was two weeks ago when there were reports that Perry had broken his foot, so he’s either a really fast healer or the word broken means different something different in Green Bay (like the Eskimos with words for snow).

The Packers are likely to be without wide receiver James Jones, who is listed as doubtful with a knee injury.
