The Jets have won all four games they’ve played in odd-numbered weeks this season and they’ve lost every game they’ve played in even-numbered weeks.

That trend isn’t showing any signs of stopping 10 minutes into their trip to Cincinnati. The Jets trail the Bengals 14-0 after a pair of Andy Dalton touchdown passes on the team’s first two drives have put them into a big lead before the end of the first quarter.

Dalton has found success targeting Jets first-round pick Dee Milliner, connecting with Marvin Jones for the first touchdown and then hitting Jones for 30 more to set up Jermaine Gresham’s touchdown catch. Dalton is 8-of-10 for 94 yards overall.

The Jets’ lone drive thus far ended after three plays with a sack by defensive tackle Geno Atkins. Things will have to get more competent than that if the Jets hope to put together their first winning streak of the year.
