Jamaal Charles returns after knee injury

Two more big catches from Josh Gordon have helped the Browns get back within three points in the third quarter and the Chiefs may have to protect what’s left of their lead without running back Jamaal Charles.

The Chiefs say that Charles is questionable to return to the game with a knee injury. Charles has not returned to the locker room and is still in full uniform riding an exercise bike on the Kansas City sideline. It’s not the look of a guy done for the day, but we’ll see how the Chiefs decide to play things with their most productive offensive player.

Charles has 88 total yards to this point in the contest and the Chiefs would be hard pressed to replace his production if he doesn’t return to the game. Knile Davis has three carries so far on Sunday and would probably be in line for more reps if Charles can’t make it back to the field.

The Chiefs lead 20-17 with 4:29 to play in the third quarter.

UPDATE 3:10 P.M. ET: Charles has returned to the game in the third quarter.

Hey Joe, why don’t you go watch your Faiders loose again after the Chiefs go 8-0?

I think he’s jealous if you ask me I’m not a kc fan I read most of these articles on this and he’s always on them either bashing or crying about something so,I’m guessing the team he is a fan of isn’t doing so great or is just a really bored person!

Chiefs should be talking trade with the Browns for Josh Gordon…That kid is the perfect weapon needed to stretch the field when Bowe gets double teamed..Gordon almost single handedly kept the Browns in the game.

Make it happen Dorsey!..This offense needs a kick in the pants!
