Jimmy Graham is active for Saints

There were reports of pessimism about tight end Jimmy Graham’s chances of playing against the Bills this Sunday, but his injured foot was able to pass whatever tests the teams wanted to see and he’s in the lineup.

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reported on Sunday that Graham has a partially torn plantar fascia in his foot, an injury that won’t offer Graham any pain relief unless/until it fully tears. As it stands now, Graham will play as long as he can tolerate the pain and that’s something he obviously feels capable of doing this weekend.

Graham may be on a snap count against Buffalo in hopes of keeping his foot injury from getting bad enough that he needs to come out of the lineup entirely. He’d be a particularly useful target for Drew Brees in the red zone even if he isn’t able to be on the field for his typical workload.

Anyone see the World Series last night? It was refreshing to see an official/ ump have a spine and do their job on a tough championship call. Now that’s how its done Super Bowl refs. You don’t hand the trophy to the cheat.
