It’s been a rough first half for the Eagles offense and it looks like it will be up to Matt Barkley to change things around.

Michael Vick, playing for the first time since Week Five because of a hamstring injury, has been removed from the game just before the two minute warning in the second quarter. The move is not surprising as Vick has looked like a shell of himself as the Eagles picked up just two first downs while he was in the game and the quarterback clearly didn’t have the burst needed to take advantage of his running ability.

Vick was spotted riding the exercise bike more than once to keep his leg loose, but the results weren’t getting any better and the Eagles decided to make a change when they fell behind 12-0 on Josh Brown’s fourth field goal of the game.

Barkley threw three picks in relief of Nick Foles last weekend. If he should repeat that performance, the Eagles’ home losing streak is going to extend a little longer.
