Packers answer 109-yard TD with methodical drive

The way the Packers did it wasn’t quite as exciting, but the result was the same.

After the Vikings jumped out to an early lead on Cordarrelle Patterson’s 109-yard return of the opening kickoff for a touchdown, the Packers just evened it up in a more methodical way.

Aaron Rodgers wasn’t perfect, but he converted four third-downs en route to a game-tying touchdown. His 11-yard pass to Jordy Nelson was a thing of beauty, dropped into the one spot of the end zone behind some good coverage.

While Patterson’s play might have been more visually interesting, the way the Packers did it seems more sustainable.
