Former Bills, Jets and Bengals edge rusher Aaron Maybin is giving the Canadian Football League a shot.

The Toronto Argonauts added Maybin, the Bills’ 2009 first-round pick, to their practice roster on Sunday.

A practice roster is akin to an NFL practice squad.

The Bengals released Maybin in August. Previously, he played for the Jets, whom he joined after only two seasons with Buffalo.

Maybin’s best NFL season came in 2011, when he notched six sacks for the Jets. However, the club waived him last November. He recorded just one tackle in eight regular-season games for the Jets in 2012.

The Giants worked out Maybin in September, but he went unsigned. Now, he’s joining the Argonauts, who have clinched the CFL’s East Division.
