Dolphins cheerleader website hacked by pornographers

There’s obviously a certain prurient interest when an NFL team dedicates a website to its cheerleaders.

But for some Dolphins fans who used their mobile devices this morning, it was a little more prurient than normal.

According to Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post, the website Dolphinscheerleaders.com was hacked sometime in the last 24 hours, and users on mobile devices were redirected to a pornographic site.

“It was hacked without our knowledge,” team spokesman Harvey Greene said. “We learned about it earlier today. We were able to fix it. We’re going to continue to investigate how this happened.”

Apparently it didn’t affect computer-based browsing, so those of you on laptops and at work can continue to safely ogle the scantily clad Dolphins cheerleaders at your leisure, or order their swimsuit calendars and other officially licensed Dolphins gear.
