After missing Sunday’s game with a concussion, Eagles quarterback Nick Foles has been cleared to return.

Philadelphia offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur confirmed today that Foles has been given the go-ahead for a full practice. Foles will split practice reps with Matt Barkley while Michael Vick is sidelined by a hamstring injury.

Although the Eagles haven’t officially announced who their starter will be for Sunday’s game at Oakland, it’s hard to believe it wouldn’t be Foles. Vick’s hamstring injury is serious enough that he’s unlikely to play, and Foles has been far better than Barkley this season. Foles is 52-for-90 for 622 yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions, while Barkley is 28-for-46 for 287 yards with no touchdowns and four interceptions.

Foles has a tough job ahead of him, trying to get something going for an Eagles offense has been held out of the end zone two weeks in a row.
