The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to terms with defensive end Everette Brown after a try out with the team on Monday.
According to Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys agreed to terms with Brown Monday night.
Brown was a former second-round draft pick of the Carolina Panthers in 2009. Despite the relatively high draft status, Brown started just three games in two seasons with the Panthers before being let go by Carolina. He spent 2011 with the San Diego Chargers and appeared in just two games. Since then he’s spent time with the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles but has not appeared in a game the past two seasons.
The Cowboys will have to make a roster move to open a spot for Brown on their active roster.
