The Seahawks got some bad news out of Monday night’s game against the Rams.

Seattle receiver Sidney Rice suffered a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season, a league source tells PFT.

Rice was third on the team with 15 catches for 231 yards and was tied for first on the team with three touchdown catches. His loss is significant to an offense that is already struggling.

If there’s a silver lining for Seattle, it’s that Percy Harvin is set to make his Seahawks debut soon, and that will provide the offense with a major playmaker. But missing Rice will hurt for a team that looks like the NFC’s Super Bowl favorite.
