The Tennessee Titans announced Monday they have re-signed safety Corey Lynch.

Lynch spent part of training camp with the Titans before being released during final cuts in August.

Lynch was originally a sixth-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in 2008. He’s played in 68 games in his career and started 12 games. Lynch spent three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and played last year for the San Diego Chargers.

Lynch played in all 16 games for the Chargers and recorded 47 tackles, two interceptions and eight special teams tackles last season.

The Titans had an open spot on their roster and do not need to make a roster spot move to add Lynch.
