Bucs say Davin Joseph didn’t have MRSA

Schiano

In response to a report/speculation from Steve Duemig of WDAE in Tampa that Buccaneers guard Davin Joseph is the fourth Buccaneers player with MRSA, the Bucs have spoken.

Joseph doesn’t have MRSA. That’s what the Bucs told JoeBucsFan.com in response to Duemig’s report/speculation.

Joseph has started every game this year, after missing all of the 2012 season with a broken kneecap.

Three Buccaneers officially have been stricken with MRSA this year: kicker Lawrence Tynes, guard Carl Nicks, and cornerback Johnthan Banks.

UPDATE 5:50 p.m. ET: A prior version of this article was based on the initial post from JoeBucsFan.com regarding Duemig’s report/speculation about Joseph. We re-worked it based on the news that the Bucs have denied Joseph had MRSA.
