St. Louis Rams guard Harvey Dahl was forced to leave Monday night’s game against the Seattle Seahawks after suffering an injury midway through the game.
According to Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com, Rams’ head coach Jeff Fisher said Tuesday that Dahl’s injury is thought to be to his MCL.
“The suspicion there is an MCL,” Fisher said. “The degree is what we’re concerned about right now.”
Dahl played 45 of the Rams’ 75 offensive snaps before leaving the game. He was replaced in the lineup by Shelley Smith at right guard. Dahl has started all eight games for the Rams so far this season. If it is an MCL tear for Dahl, it’s likely he would miss a few weeks of action before being able to return to the lineup.
